Ares Houses

Geocaching in Corinthia, Greece

Add a special adventure to your Greek vacation with geocaching! Geocaching is an outdoor recreational activity in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or mobile device to hide and seek containers, called "geocaches" or "caches", anywhere in the world.

With it's natural beauty and interesting sights, Corinthia is exceptionally suited to an adventure with your GPS. If you let us know of your interest in geocaching, when you arrive at Ares' House you will be given the coordinates of 4 caches hidden in nearby areas of archaelogical interest,  noted for their natural beauty or areas close to great restaurants and coffee shops. A typical cache is a small waterproof container containing a logbook where the geocacher enters the date they found it and signs it. The cache will also  contain a toy or trinkets of little material value but a great souvenir of your adventure.
